This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data within our online offering and the websites, functions, and content associated with it, as well as external online presences, such as our social media profiles on (e.g., Facebook or Instagram) (collectively referred to as "online offering"). With regard to the terms used, such as "processing" or "controller," we refer to the definitions in Article 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Every time you access content on the website, temporary data is stored that may allow identification. The following data is collected:
Legal Basis: The data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected. For the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session is ended. The log files are stored up to a maximum of 24 hours directly and exclusively accessible to administrators. After that, they are only indirectly available through the reconstruction of backup tapes and are finally deleted after a maximum of four weeks.
Right to Information
You can request information under Article 15 of the GDPR about your personal data that we process.
Right to Object
You have the right to object for special reasons (see point II).
Right to Rectification
If the information concerning you is inaccurate, you can request rectification under Article 16 of the GDPR. If your data is incomplete, you can request completion.
Right to Erasure
You can request the erasure of your personal data under Article 17 of the GDPR.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right, under Article 18 of the GDPR, to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
Right to Complain
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, you have the right, under Article 77(1) of the GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority of your choice. Right to Data Portability
If the conditions of Article 20(1) of the GDPR are met, you have the right to receive data that we process on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract automatically and to have it transmitted to yourself or to third parties. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are mandatorily required for the operation of the website. They are therefore not based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR or on a contract under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR but are justified under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Therefore, the conditions of Article 20(1) of the GDPR are not met in this respect.

We have a contact form where email, name, and IP address are stored. The data is retained for the duration of the relevant communication.
We also have a bug report form where email, name, IP address, and bug report context with timestamp are stored. Email and IP address are not publicly visible.
We use Google ReCaptcha V3 to secure forms that communicate with the server and API. Privacy policies can be read on Google ReCaptcha.
We do not share personal data with third parties.
The website is SSL encrypted.
The website is operated from Germany, German law applies.
